With 24 years and 40+ projects completed with Thomas Homes the Abbey Fields development of Eynsham Garden Centre had it all. With a high water table to 50% of the site, we delighted in overcoming the challenging site conditions to deliver on time and budget.

1km of adoptable road consisting of permeable block paving and tarmac with elements of the 278 works carried out at nights on the notorious A40. 1km of adoptable sewer with a 7m deep pumping station constructed from 3.6 diameter PCC rings, diverting existing adopted foul sewer, ground beams on vibro and CFA piles and strip foundations, substructures, all associated works with incoming main utilities and house connections. We also carried out hard landscaping to include permeable driveway construction, patios and paths, timber sleeper retaining walls and self binding gravel to wildlife areas.
